Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I am excited to be running for re-election to the Shrewsbury Select Board. I am asking for your support in the May 7, 2024 municipal election as I seek to continue providing effective stewardship and leadership for Shrewsbury.
My husband Jim and I have lived in Shrewsbury for more than 20 years. We chose to start and raise our family here because of this wonderful community. Our three girls have thrived in Shrewsbury Public Schools and are now a sophomore, junior, and senior at Shrewsbury High School.
I am proud of the work done during my first term. Working collaboratively with other members of the Board, we developed the 2030 Strategic Plan and have been actively executing in the five strategic outcome areas. After listening sessions with the public, ARPA funding was effectively allocated to infrastructure improvements for water and sewer, school safety and security upgrades, and investments in our parks to improve accessibility and recreation opportunities. We created a charge to establish the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee, enhanced resident communications through a town-wide quarterly newsletter, and reinstated Select Board office hours. Most importantly, we have maintained a balanced budget and our AAA bond rating, which is a benefit to every taxpayer. I am running for re-election so I can continue this important work and build upon our accomplishments. I remain steadfast in my commitment to:

I am an effective leader and contribute in positive ways to advocate for the issues we all care about. I listen to all viewpoints, put in the dedicated work this role requires and deserves, and collaborate with all stakeholders to make the best decisions for Shrewsbury.
